Unfortunately, we cannot refund you in case you have to cancel your trip due to any reason including a positive Covid test. We are trying to be as flexible with refunds as possible, but we also need to be fair to our crew members who count on having healthy folks to take out traveling. We also sign contracts and pay all of our suppliers in advance, and as a result, we do not receive a refund, if we cancel after signed deadlines. We advise to get travel insurance and to check, if you will be reimbursed, should you test positive before a trip and need to cancel.

In this case, please contact us immediately so we are able to let everybody on the trip know that someone was tested positive shortly after. This information remains anonymous; however, we need to be able to tell everybody that they need to get tested again and quarantine, so it’s really important that you let us know. The information also has to be registered at the local health department

NOTE:

As you know, the restrictions may change daily. If there are any other requirements implemented by the government then we will communicate them as soon as it’s possible. As the trend is positive lately, we don’t expect stricter restrictions; however, should further requirements arise, they are not a reason for free cancelations. If new restrictions make it impossible for us to carry out the trip smoothly, then the entire trip will get cancelled and everybody on our attending list will receive a full refund.

In other words, your luggage left in the bus is NOT insured. We recommend all our travellers to have travel/luggage insurance which covers theft. During the trip, it’s most important to let your trip leader know, if there’s some issue (issue with your room, complaint, etc.) so the issue can be addressed & resolved.  We’re not mind readers and if you don’t let us know, we can’t fix the problem.

Yes, it is possible to organize any custom trip (even beyond Europe) or add an extra date for an existing destination,if you have a group.

Please email us for pricing and options –  info@unibustravel.com

Certain countries and cities vary in cost for accommodations, excursions, activities, etc.  Some destinations are more expensive while some are cheaper and the price of the trip can be reflective of that.  As well, certain trips may include more things, or the time of year (high season vs. low season), if the trip takes place during a festival or holiday, etc. can all affect the price.

Yes it is possible. Contact us to inquire about the possibility and also availability and pricing.

We do not send out the names and contact info of the other travelers, but you’ll have a chance to meet everybody once you’re on the trip of course!

In most countries we travel to, the Euro is the used currency, but in destinations where the Euro isn’t used, it’s best to use a cash machine to get money as you’ll get the best exchange rate and not have to pay any commission or service fee like you typically do at an exchange office (your bank may charge international withdrawal fees however so be sure to check on those).

Generally we stay in hostels but depending on the destination we may also stay in hotels (feel free to write us).  Regardless of whether it’s a hostel or hotel for a particular trip, you’ll be in a top rated, centrally located, clean and safe place.  Room size always depends on availability but rooms are generally anything from 3,4,5,6 and 8 person rooms.  Private single, twin and triple rooms may be available depending on the property we’re staying at and/or can be available as an upgrade at extra cost.

Organize a group of 15+ people and everybody will get a 5% discount and your trip will be free as the group organizer!

Yes, we do offer discounts for groups!  Groups of 5+ are entitled to a 5% discount. Email us, if you’re part of a group traveling together – info@unibustravel.com

No, you don’t need to stick with the group the entire time. In fact, you can do your own thing the entire time and avoid the group, if you’d like.  This is not a school trip so you’re not required to follow a teacher around and have your hand held. It’s your trip so how you spend your time is entirely up to you!

And our trips are full of groups of friends as well as solo travelers. We like to think that we create a very social experience during the trips so if you’re traveling solo, you’ll be able to meet new friends!

Each trip can slightly differ as far as what’s included and be sure to read all details carefully on the trip booking page pertaining to what’s included and what isn’t. Generally speaking however, a trip includes transportation from the specified departure city, accommodations, breakfast at the hotel/hostel, a walking tour of the destination and possibly day trips, excursions and/or activities when listed.

Your tickets are going to be attached to the info mail that is sent out approximately 3 days before departure.

We set up a private Facebook group only accessible to people who are on the trip. You will be asked to join this group before the trip starts 3 days before when the info mail is sent to you. Your trip leader will post important locations, departure times, tips, time and other useful information in this group. You can post a question any time and they will get back to you as soon as they can. Additionally, you can call them at any time. Please do not call the office or contact us via email or Facebook chat during the trip. As most trips are happening on public holidays and weekends, the office will not be open. If you do not have access to Facebook, please let us know before the trip starts and we can try to find a solution. However, internet access is a requirement in order to communicate with you during the trip.

We do not provide fully guided tours. The Unibus Travel-Team Member is a trip leader who is responsible for the organization of the trip, he/she is not a professionally trained tour guide, they will not guide you around in each city. You will have some free time on every trip that you can use to explore the places on your own. We provide transportation to every place described on the trip itinerary and have some optional activities planned that you can additionally book (depending on the city and trip).

All of our buses have AC and heating, reclinable seats, WC and the driver offers beverages onboard for longer trips. The buses we use are usually the size for 50-80 people; it varies depending on how many people have booked.

Feel free to bring a blanket and a pillow to make your bus ride more comfortable, also you may bring snacks and drinks on board. No smelly food is allowed such as McDonald’s, Döner, Curry, Pizza, etc). Sandwiches, salads, fruits etc. are allowed. You can leave everything on the bus during exploring on the first/last day but take everything with you when we check in to our accommodation (for multiple-day trips). Make sure you take your valuables with you.

No, it is not possible. The travelers must be at the pick-up location on time and be always aware of the Facebook support group with the updates and announcements. For more information please check our https://unibustravel.com/terms-conditions/ on the website.
